EHC PLANS
The paperwork trail for the Education, Health and Care needs assessments can be confusing and a lengthy process, especially when it comes to working cross border, with different local authorities and health providers. We have significant training and expertise in the legalities surrounding assessments and our in depth knowledge, in areas such as transfer review timescales means we can tackle any issues that may be holding up the process and get things done quicker.
We are experienced at pulling together successful supporting educational evidence for a request, in terms of aspirations, outcomes and provision, This frees up your time to focus more on the students and less on the administration.
We are able to cover the whole spectrum of difficulties and the full age range of 0 – 25 for EHC needs assessments.
You don’t need to do it alone, we are parents who want to help you understand the systems and the emotions too.
How Schools achieve student progress.

Students in your care must make the best possible progress they can, progress with literacy, attendance or improved mental and emotional wellbeing. We understand the emphasis on building resilience and character amongst children and young people but also realise that often those with special needs have these in abundance, but sometimes this is not immediately evident. There may be a number of factors that are having an impact on progress, from inconsistent family support, to a lack of suitable interventions, reports or therapies. We can support you to develop strategies to work with parents on outcomes and goals. We can help with engagement of those parents who are hard to reach and not engaging in their children's education. Evidence suggests that parent’s who take an active part in their child's education improve their child’s grades and overall health and wellbeing. We can engage in a way that schools don’t have time to.

Organisations can buy in to our services for their clients, we are all parents and offer a unique service.
Parents naturally trust other parents and it’s important when working with parents that we are completely open and transparent.

A very high percentage of young people who go through the criminal justice system have a diagnosis of ADHD or they are undiagnosed. Across Wirral we have NO ongoing support for parents, we also have no skill building for families who are trying their best to understand their children and guide them in the right way.
We will accept referrals to our service for 1:2:1 parent to parent support, a SLA must be in place for referrals to be made. clear outcomes must be set by the families and regular reports and updates will be given to the referrer, however confidentiality will be maintained throughout the support process..

We work closely with the ADHD foundation, our support is different, We offer bespoke skilled parent to parent support on a peer to peer basis.
